Kimbap.....again and again....


Alhamdulillah tiada nikmat yg hendak di dustakan....ya rob....rezeki mu sentiasa melimpah ruah....kupanjangkan rasa syukur pdMU ya ALLAH....jom anak2 kita outing....insya Allah perut kalian sentiasa terisi dgn makanan yg sihat.....

yields 6 rolls 
Ingredients:
3 cups uncooked short grain rice (Beras ni ada jual kt giant biasa lina buat 2 cup beras menghasil kan 7 gulung spt gambar di atas) hati nak masak nasi nya ye (Sukatan air nya utk 2 cup beras guna air 3 cup yg sama dgn sukatan beras ye)
1 tablespoon sesame oil
salt to taste (about 3/4 teaspoon)

6 gim (aka nori) sheets

For beef:
8 ounces lean tender beef, cut into 1/2 inch-thick long strips
 (You can also use thin bulgogi meat or ground beef)
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic

For spinach:
1 bunch spinach (about 8 ounces)
1 teaspoon sesame oil
salt to taste - about 1/4 teaspoon

For fish cake - eomuk:
1 sheet fish cake - eomuk
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

2 medium carrots, julienned (or 1/2-inch thick long strips)
3 eggs
6 yellow pickled radish (danmuji) strips (1/2-inch thick)

Cook the rice using a little less water than usual. (Fresh cooked rice is best for gimbap.)


Cut the beef into thin strips (about 1/2-inch thick). Mix well with the next 4 seasoning ingredients. Stir fry over medium high heat until cooked through, 2 - 3 minutes.  ( Lina tak pernah cuba letak daging) next time will try lina biasanya letak tuna or boleh letak apa2 yg kita nak...next time boleh try letak ayam...






Blanch the spinach, shock in cold water and squeeze out water. Season with the sesame oil and salt. ( Ni pun lina tk pernah try next will try)






Julienne the carrots. Stir fry with a little bit of oil over medium high heat and salt until softened. (biasa lina rebus kan sekejap )






Crack and beat the eggs, in a bowl with a spoon or a fork. Stir in a pinch of salt. Heat a pan over medium low heat. Add the eggs to the pan. When the bottom is set, flip it over. Transfer to a cutting board. Cut lengthwise into 3/4-inch thick strips. ( Yg mmg anak sgt suka)




Cut the fish cake lengthwise into 3/4-inch thick strips. Mix with the soy sauce, sugar and salt. Stir fry with a little bit (about 1 teaspoon) of vegetable oil over medium heat until softened, about 2 minutes. ( Tak pernah cuba lg)





Cut the pickled radish lengthwise into 1/2-inch thick strips (unless you bought a pre-cut package). Letak ni mmg terbaik ada jual di kedai korean harga dlm rm 10 satu pack ada dlm 17 pcs kalau tak silap)






The filling ingredients are ready.

When all the other ingredients are ready, remove the rice from the rice cooker. While the rice is still hot, add the sesame oil and salt. Mix well by lightly folding with a rice paddle or large spoon until evenly seasoned. Taste a little and add more salt if needed. The rice will cool down during this process and be ready to be used.




Put a sheet of gim, shiny side down and longer side toward you, on a cutting board or a bamboo mat if available. Spread about 3/4 cup to 1 cup of rice evenly over the gim, using a rice paddle or your fingers preferably.
Sebelum meletak kan seawed letak kan plastic supaya jika ada lebihan nasi tk melekat di tikar buluh anda)  Nasi  ni akak melekit lina biasa nya guna dua sudu utk meletakan nasi atas seaweed.



Lay the prepared ingredients on top of the rice close to the side toward you. ( Gulung dgn cermat dan kemas)






Lift the entire bottom edge with both hands and roll over the filling away from you, tucking in the filling with your fingers.






Put firm pressure over the roll with the help of the bamboo mat, if using, to close everything in tightly. Then, continue to roll again, putting pressure evenly over the roll using both hands.



  

Rub or brush the roll with a little bit of sesame oil for extra flavor and shiny look. Apply a little bit of sesame oil to a sharp knife. (This will keep rice from sticking to the knife. Repeat as necessary after each cut. Wipe the knife with a damp towel if the rice still sticks.) Cut the roll into 1/2-inch bite sizes.

sebelum masuk oven....

Alhamdulillah....nikmat dlm nikmat yg tidak dpt didustakan....roti sarang lebah yg heboh diperkatakan sgt hot....mai check recipe....Terima kasih pada lydia honey....kerana berkongsi recipe yg sgt meletop ini....ternyata rupa nya buat sesiaapa teruja dan bila menjamah nya pasti rasanya sgt menarik....nak tahu kena memcuba recipe ada disini...Mula dapat drp share link drp blog intanberlian click SINI ternyata berbaloi sgt2 mencuba....terima kasih intan....


  • 2 cawan tepung gandum ____________ saya dah pernah guna tepung roti jugak
  • 1/2 sudu teh dry yeast _____________ saya guna yis mauripan
  • 1/4 sudu teh garam
  • 1/2 sudu teh baking powder
  • 1 sudu besar gula pasir
  • 1/4 cawan plain yogurt (suhu bilik) _________________ saya guna bancuhan susu tepung, maksud saya, mula2 ikutlah sukatan susu tepung u all tu.. macam susu saya guna ni, 200ml air + 3 sudu besar susu.. pastu ambik 1/4 cawan air susu tu untuk gantikan plain yogurt.. 
  • 1/4 cawan minyak sun flower _________________ saya guna minyak masak
  • 1/2 cawan air suam _______________ saya guna air suam2 kuku

  1. Larutkan YIS + GULA + AIR SUAM sampai berbuih macam dalam gambar atas tu tau... Nampak tak yang bulatan putih besar tu, yang tu buih la tu... kalau tak berbuih, seperti yang tepi2 bulatan putih tu, yang warna gelap sikit tu..
  2. Di dalam mangkuk adunan, masukkan TEPUNG GANDUM + BAKING POWDER = saya ayak terlebih dahulu pastu letak GARAM & kacau sebati
  3. Masukkan CAMPURAN YIS YANG DAH BERBUIH & YOGURT ke dalam mangkuk adunan tadi
  4. U all dah boleh uli sambil masukkan minyak sedikit demi sedikit.. ULI SEHINGGA ELASTIK.. Macam saya, time rajin saya uli sampai sejam time tak berapa rajin, uli setengah jam je... tu pun tetap jugak lembut.. Actually lagi lama uli lagi bagus, roti kita tu akan jadi lebih gebu..
  5. Bila dah puas uli, biarkan doh tu sehingga kembang 2 kali ganda dari doh asal
  6. Bila dah kembang bolehlah tumbuk2 doh tu bagi angin dia keluar
  7. Sapu minyak di tangan u all & ambik doh lepas tu u all genggam doh tu & akan keluarlah doh tu dari celah ibu jari & jari telunjuk kan... Haa doh yang keluar celah tu la u all ambik letak dalam loyang yang dah disapu minyak.. U all buat doh tu jadi sebesar buah langsat je tau.. Ohya, dalam loyang tu, u all susun rapat2 tau doh yang kecik molek tu semua..
  8. U all buat macam tu sampai habis, Doh tu MEMANG LEMBIK & MELEKAT2 DI TANGAN TAPI JANGAN RISAU, U ALL SAPU JE MINYAK DEKAT TANGAN BAGI KURANGKAN MELEKAT2 TU..
  9. Bila dah penuh loyang tu dengan doh, u all letak la apa yang u all nak letak atas dia, macam saya letak badam & jintan hitam... U all nak letak pumpkin seeds pun boleh.. tak nak letak apa2 pun boleh.. ikut citarasa masing2... Dah siap, u all biarkan hingga doh tu naik 2 kali ganda lagi sekali.. 
  10. Bila dah naik 2 kali ganda, bolehla u all bakar... Bila dah siap bakar time tengah2 panas tu, terus curahkan BUTTERSCOTH SAUCE ke atas roti tersebut & SIAP..!!
BUTTERSCOTH SAUCE
  1. 1/2 cawan brown sugar.. macam gambar dekat atas tu yer...
  2. 1/2 cawan whipping cream ____________ saya guna susu cair 
  3. 1/2 sudu teh esen vanilla
  4. 25g butter
  5. CARA2 : Cairkan BUTTER pastu masukkan BROWN SUGAR = Kacau selalu hingga gulanya cair & berbuih.. Tuangkan WHIPPING CREAM secara perlahan2 sambil tangan terus mengacau tau, kang hangus pulak.. pastu MASUKKAN VANILLA... kacau sebati & SIAP..!!
PERINGATAN
  • Pastikan oven betoi2 panas baru masukkan doh roti tadi yer... Kiranya u all kene panaskan oven terlebih dahulu la... Panas oven tu maksudnya kosong la dalam oven tu yer.. takda apa2... U all guna suhu lebih kurang 180 - 200C api atas bawah lebih kurang 10 15 minit ke... Bila dah bunyi "ting".. barulah u all masukkan doh u all yang dalam loyang tu tadi... Untuk oven di rumah saya ni, saya guna suhu 160C.. Untuk 10 minit pertama saya guna api bawah sahaja & 5 minit terakhir saya guna api atas bawah...
  • Doh memang lembik, JANGAN TAMBAH TEPUNG TAPI JUST SAPU MINYAK JE DEKAT TANGAN U ALL TIME NAK BENTUKKAN DOH JADI BESAR BUAH LANGSAT tu yer...
  • JANGAN BAKAR LAMA SANGAT NANTI KERAS
  • Ohya, tujuan oven nak kene betoi2 panas tu sebab nak jadikan roti u all tu nanti lembut selembut kapas... Wah, gitu kekdahnya.. 
  • Kalau tak habis makan, simpan dalam bekas kedap udara yer... Iskk tapi takdanya tak habis makan... sekali hadap je tu... (^_^)
  • Ohya, saya letak BUTTERSCOTH SAUCE YANG TENGAH PANAS2 KE ATAS ROTI YANG KELUAR OVEN TU YANG TENGAH PANAS2 JUGAK... TAPI MESTI BERHATI2..!! Yela, sebab tengah panas kan.. (^_^)
