Ini la rupa Thickened cream....jenuh mencari akhir nyer dpt kat bakery shop...tp bila tanya counter mana Thickened cream...dia kata whipping cream...tp bukan ye pasti kan beli cream yg kat atas tu....lina telah mencuba tp lina buat separuh dpr recipe ini.....recipe ni boleh diULang2 buat lain kali....makan ketike suam2 tambah dengan ais cream perhhhh...SGT SEDAP ye....selamat mencuba ....recipe ada kat bawah ni....Terima kasih kepada rima yg telah membantu ku.....sila la ke blog rima yg sgt prof memasak itu....
Ingredients (serves 8)
250g pitted dates, chopped
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 1/2 cups boiling water125g butter, softened - i used unsalted anchor brand and added 1/4 tsp to my flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract - no stock so used
2tsp of vanilla essence
2 eggs1 3/4 cups White Wings Self-Raising Flour, sifted
Butterscotch Sauce
90g brown sugar
120ml thickened cream
80g butter
MethodPreheat oven to 180°C. Grease and line the base of a 7cm deep, 22cm (base) cake pan.Place dates and bicarbonate of soda into a bowl. Pour over boiling water.
Allow to stand for 20 minutes - I boil water and dates and once it started to boil.. i off heat and added bicarbonate of soda.. let it stand for 20 mins or till lukewarm to touch. Follow rima did the same thing .
Using an electric mixer, beat butter, sugar and vanilla until pale and creamy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Using a large metal spoon, fold through date mixture and flour until well combined.Spoon mixture into prepared cake pan.
Bake for 160 - 35 to 40 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Turn onto a plate.

waaa dah buat ye..ishh cam teringin jugak ni..tapi kat esbox ada whiping cream aje..huhu
masa baca apa yg rima tulis tu rasa dah tak sabar nak buat...tp mmg sedap....letak ais cream..tak tahu nak cakap la...SEDAP sgt.
