Carrot Muffins

Carrot Muffins..let enjoy it.
My daughter and me made these yesterday and they are amazing. Very moist and full of flavor. We did change the amount of oil, by replacing 3/4 cups of apple sauce 1/4 cup oil and they turned out really well, while taking out a lot of that oil that was requested. I also put in 2 table spoons of ground flax seeds for more nutrition. I will be making these again and again

Ingredients: Make 36 muffins. 4 cups flour 4 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda (bicarbonate of soda) 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoon cinnamon 4 eggs 1 1/3 cup dark brown sugar 2 cups milk 2 tablespoon lemon juice 6 oz olive oil 2 large finely shredded carrots (3 cups) 1 cup raisins Method: In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. In another bowl, whisk eggs and brown sugar until blended. Whisk in milk, lemon juice, and olive oil. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until evenly moistened. Fold in carrots and raisins. Spoon batter into muffin cups, filling those three quarters full. Bake in the oven at 425 degree F for 18 minutes.

Sanggul menyerupai bonggol unta

It's a trend nowadays that many Muslim Malaysian women are into the new hijab wearing i.e. wearing a shawl-like syrian style hijab. I posted on my Fb status recently stating that I too, would want to wear the syrian women hijab style with high bun but unfortunately my hair is short thus cannot tie or do a bun at all.I also received few suggestions to buy fake buns online or at Arzu, KLCC. I used to study in an arabic-medium school and had learned that when you wear tudung, you're not supposed to show any indication that your hair is long by tying your hair really high/do a bun until men can notice the presence of your long hair eventhough you wear your cover/hijab. That defeats the purpose of wearing a hijab. However, I can't remember the hukum whether it's haram or harus or makruh. Being curious, I googled about this sanggul arab issue and found the hadith related: Quote:: “ akan muncul dalam kalangan umatku di akhir zaman, kaum lelaki yang menunggang sambil duduk di atas pelana, lalu mereka turun di depan pintu-pintu masjid. Hadith no 212-

Bunga Keladi

My dear friends, look around your garden whether you have this plant? get rid of it. I have receive this from my mail...

Please read below. The message is true. I almost lost my daughter who put a piece of the leaf of this plant in her mouth and her tongue swelled to the point of suffocation. This is one plant but there are others with the same characteristics of coloring. Those are also poisonous and we should get rid of them. Please watch out for our children. As we all leave our children home in the hands of the helpers, we should give them a safe environment where they can play.

"This plant that we have in our homes and offices is extremely dangerous!

This plant is common in Kenya , Rwanda, Uganda in plant nurseries, many offices and homes. It is a deadly poison, mainly for the children. It can kill a kid in less than a minute and an adult in 15 minutes. It should be uprooted from gardens and taken out of offices. If touched, one should never touch ones eyes; it can cause partial or permanent blindness. Please alert your buddies 4 comments

Pergi Tak Kembali 150510

Terima Kasih. Al Fatihah … Amin.

Pergi Tak Kembali lyrics by Rabbani

Setiap insan pasti merasa Saat perpisahan terakhir Dunia yang fana akan ditinggalkan Hanya amalan yang dibawa Terdengar sayup surah dibaca Sayunya alunan suara Cemas di dada...lemah tak bermaya Terbuka hijab di depan mata Selamat tinggal pada semua Berpisahlah kita selamanya Kita tak sama nasib di sana Baikkah atau sebaliknya Rabbani Pergi Tak Kembali

Amalan dan takwa jadi bekalan Sejahtera bahagia pulang...ke sana Sekujur badan berselimut putih Rebah bersemadi sendiri Mengharap kasih anak dan isteri Apa mungkin pahala dikirim Terbaring sempit seluas pusara Soal-bicara terus bermula Sesal dan insaf tak berguna lagi Hancurlah jasad dimamah bumi Berpisah sudah segalanya Yang tinggal hanyalah kenangan Diiring doa dan air mata Yang pergi takkan kembali lagi

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

The EASIEST and BEST Banana Muffins I have ever tasted! chewah...Even if you think you can’t cook, they are 100% “fool-proof” which makes them all that much better! With only 8 ingredients (which you probably have on-hand) I am sure you’ll agree these are super easy.

I found this recipe by google! Wow, these are the best I have ever made!! Not sure why as the ingredients are pretty much generic…but wow, they are fabulous! I actually used 5 bananas as that’s how many I had going too ripe.

Then I added half cup almond , and to top it off I added Sun flower seed

(I would said all my family members just love it very ..very much okay include my lil Darwisy!) I never said this version was for those watching calories! They are just wonderful!! I will NOT throw this recipe away!!

So mommy out there, what are you waiting for...bake it..enjoy doing it...to prepare this muffin it take 15 minute and plus minus bake about less than 35 minute in total...trust me....

Here is the recipe we could share it...

3 or 4 Large bananas, mashed (the more bananas the moister, so I use 5)

1/2 cup white sugar (original recipe calls for 1 cup, but I don’t like them too sweet)

1 slightly beaten egg

1/3 cup melted margarine or butter

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups flour (self raising flour my friend told me Tepung Gandung much much better when we make muffin)

Mix the mashed banana, sugar, egg and margarine together. Set aside. In a separate bowl, mix together baking soda, baking powder, salt and flour. Mix wet and dry ingredients all together! Pour into greased muffin tins, and bake in 170 degrees F oven for approximately 20 -25 minutes. Enjoy!

*These are much more flavourful the next day, and they freeze very nicely too!

*Also, if you like walnuts, you can throw a handful of those in there as well for some added flavor and texture, or try adding chocolate chips, or better yet, BOTH! Yum 4 comments
